Chores & routines
150+ age-appropriate templates, checklists, schedules and shared βfirst to claimβ jobs. Missed a day? No penalties by default.
For families with kids aged 4 to 16
Yippie turns chores, reading and personal goals into quests. Kids earn silver coins for helping at home and gold for paid extra jobs, you approve with a tap and run the family store, and good habits grow into ones they keep.
How it works
A simple loop that kids understand and parents can keep up with on a busy Tuesday.
Add your kids with a nickname and birth year, pick ready-made packs like Morning routine or Bookworm, and choose how much each job is worth.
They see today's quests with pictures and read-aloud for little ones, tap βI did it!β, and watch their streaks, levels and avatars grow.
Approve with a swipe and add a praise sticker or voice note. Silver coins land instantly and can be saved up for rewards you've chosen together.
Everything in one place
Chores, reading, goals and rewards in one calm app for parents and one joyful app for kids.
150+ age-appropriate templates, checklists, schedules and shared βfirst to claimβ jobs. Missed a day? No penalties by default.
Scan a book, run a reading timer, log pages and celebrate every finished book on a growing bookshelf.
Kids set goals like learning to ride a bike or saving for a scooter, break them into milestones and reflect at the end.
You choose the rewards and the prices. Silver buys screen time, a park trip or a sleepover; gold buys pocket money and real things. Declines refund automatically.
Kids build an avatar that looks like them, with inclusive skin tones, hair and headwear, glasses, hearing aids and wheelchairs, all free.
Share the family iPad with a profile picker, give each kid their own tablet, or mix both. Everything syncs in seconds.
No Wi-Fi in the car? Kids can still tick off quests. Everything syncs when you're back online, with no double coins.
No ads, no trackers, no chat with strangers and no purchases in Kid mode. Kids' profiles hold a nickname, birth year and avatar only.
Helping at home is part of being a family, so everyday chores earn silver, never money. Gold comes only from extra jobs you mark as paid and a fixed weekly allowance for teens, so money lessons stay real.

Identity options are always free and never locked behind coins. Kids earn fun extras like capes, hats and scenes by doing their quests.
Rooms and pets
Every kid gets a room to make their own. It fills up with the things they've actually done, and it grows with every level.
Beds, rugs, posters, lamps and decor cost silver. Upgrades like a window, a second shelf and a loft bed are earned by levelling up, never bought.
Finished books fill the bookshelf, badges hang on the trophy wall and active goals are pinned to the dream board.
Choose the animal and its name. Kids feed and play each day, and with care their pet grows up and learns tricks to show off.
Pets never get sick or sad. If nobody looks after them for a day, they just get sleepy. Food costs a little silver, and you can send some too.
A pet goes from baby to young to grown-up over a few weeks of feeding and play. Going away? Holiday mode pauses quests, streaks and pet needs for the whole family.

Friends see each other's avatar, pet, room, badges, level and finished books with stars. Nothing else.
A high five for a new badge or a cheer for a cosy room. There's no chat or free text of any kind.

Vaccinations, allergies with an action plan, medicines and doctor or dentist visits, with a gentle reminder when the next one is due.

You agree first, every value is encrypted, helpers only see allergies and medicines, and none of it is ever shared with friends.
Age-based ideas like a first lost tooth or riding without training wheels, each with a date, a note and a sticker. No photos needed.

Your family, your setup
Choose during setup and change it any time in Settings.
Perfect for the kitchen iPad. Kids tap their avatar (with an optional picture PIN) and Parent mode is locked behind your PIN. It auto-locks when idle.
Pair a kid's tablet by scanning a QR code. When they finish a job, your phone gets a notification and you approve from anywhere.
Mum and Dad on their phones, the little ones on the family iPad, the teenager on their laptop. Everyone sees the same family, in sync.
No app store needed. Yippie runs in Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox on phones, tablets and computers. Add it to your home screen and it opens full-screen, works offline and can send notifications.
Grows with them
Kid mode adapts automatically from each child's birth year. You can override it any time.

Why it works
Yippie is built on well-established ideas from child development and motivation research: warmth, consistency, autonomy and specific praise.
Approvals come with praise stickers and voice notes like βYou kept going!β, because specific, effort-focused praise builds persistence.
Silver gets a habit started, and chores never earn money because helping is part of family life. Reflection, mastery and celebrating growth do the rest.
Kids choose their goals, propose their own tasks and decide what to save for. Teens get a respectful, grown-up space.
Sibling leaderboards are off by default. Family quests let everyone work towards something together, like a beach day.
Missed days carry no penalty by default, streak freezes take the pressure off, and avatars never look sad.
Recurring routines, gentle reminders and a weekly recap help you stay consistent without nagging.
Pricing

Questions
Helping at home is part of being a family, so everyday chores, routines, reading and kindness earn silver coins. Silver buys experiences and privileges, like choosing the movie or being DJ in the car, plus avatar items and other fun extras. It never turns into money.
Gold coins are for real-world value. They come only from extra jobs you mark as paid (washing the car, mowing the lawn) and an optional fixed weekly allowance, which suits teens learning to budget. Gold buys pocket money and physical things like books or LEGO. You set the rate (10 gold = $1 to start).
The two wallets never swap. When your child wants to cash out gold, they ask you in person, you hand over the money and record it in their gold wallet. Gold is hidden for ages 4β7 unless you turn it on, so little ones keep things simple.
A parent gifts each pet, choosing the animal (there are 12, from a puppy to a baby dragon) and its name. It lives in your child's room and can walk beside their avatar. One pet per kid is free, and Family+ allows up to 4.
Kids feed and play with their pet each day. A meal uses one portion of food, and more food costs a little silver. You can also send food as a gift from their profile in Parent mode. With care, pets grow from baby to young to grown-up over a few weeks and learn tricks along the way.
Pets never get sick or sad, and they never run away. If nobody looks after them for a day, they just get sleepy until the next snack and game.
No, strangers can't find your child. There's no search, no list of kids, no suggestions and no friends-of-friends. The only way to become friends is to swap a short-lived code in person, wrong guesses are limited, and siblings can't add each other.
Friends can't message each other, only send preset reactions. You're told about every new friend, you can remove any of them, and switching friends off hides your child's profile straight away. Your child's display name is the nickname you set, so use a nickname or first name only. Read more in our privacy policy.
